In accordance with the City of Calgary Vaccine Passport Bylaw 65M2021, visitors ages 12 and older must provide government issued ID along with proof of vaccination, recent negative COVID-19 test, or valid medical exemption letter.

Family Learn to Fish Clinic

This 2-hour outdoor program teaches the basics of fishing through hands-on activities designed for families. Together, you'll learn to:

  • Read Alberta’s Sportfishing Regulations
  • Select lures and tackle
  • Identify common sportfish
  • Cast a spin rod

Who: Ages 4+ (youth ages 12 and under must be accompanied by paid adult)

Adult Learn to Fish Clinics

This 1.5-hour outdoor clinic is perfect for adults seeking to learn the basics of fishing before heading on their first fishing adventure. You’ll learn to:

  • Read Alberta’s Sportfishing Regulations
  • Select lures and tackle
  • Identify common sportfish
  • Set up and cast a spin rod

Program size subject to AHS guidelines. Program maximum size includes participants and staff programmer(s).
