Volunteer

Volunteers play an important role in supporting programs and events by enhancing our visitors’ experience. In the end, volunteers assist in achieving our vision of fostering an awareness, appreciation and understanding of Alberta's air, land, water and biodiversity.

Bow Habitat Station holds two information sessions annually. Attendance at one of these sessions in mandatory for all prospective volunteers. Information sessions will be held:

  • November 19, 2020
  • April 15, 2021

Volunteer applications will be provided following attendance at one of these sessions.

Note: As an important tool in our program's screening process, applicants will be asked to complete a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check. Applicants will also be required to attend an orientation session as well as mandatory training sessions relevant to their volunteer position(s).
