Fish Feeding and Marsh Dipping activities have resumed operations.


Volunteers play an important role in supporting programs and events by enhancing our visitors’ experience. In the end, volunteers assist in achieving our vision of fostering an awareness, appreciation and understanding of Alberta's air, land, water and biodiversity.

Bow Habitat Station will be holding two information sessions in 2020. Attendance at one of these sessions in mandatory for all prospective volunteers. Information sessions will be held:

  • April 16 – Digital session.
  • November 19

Note: As an important tool in our program's screening process, applicants will be asked to complete a Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check. Applicants will also be required to attend an orientation session as well as mandatory training sessions relevant to their volunteer position(s).
