Alberta is home to many wild species that sport horns, hooves, or both! This April, learn all about our province’s year-round residents including the moose, elk, caribou, pronghorns, deer, bison, sheep and goats.

With partners from the Wilder Institute Calgary Zoo, Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area, Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation, and the City of Calgary– you won’t want to miss out on these fun facts, games, and activities!

Featured Activities

• Run your fingers along ungulate horns and hoofprints to match the biofact with the correct animal. Can you guess right?
• Put your knowledge to the test in a special game of ungulate trivia
• Explore how whitetail deer communicate to each other as they navigate their habitat
