Closed Sundays in the winter (Nov 1-May 14), and Mondays and statutory holidays year-round.

PUBLIC NOTICE: The Sam Livingston Fish Hatchery will be closing for renovations on October 2, 2017. Hurry in for a tour or feeding before it's too late!

There is free public parking available at the park's entrance.


By bike:

Follow the regional pathway along the river and follow the signs on the pathway towards the Discovery Centre.

By car:

Accessible from downtown via 9 Avenue SE, or from Deerfoot Trail via the exit for Blackfoot Trail heading east towards downtown. Heading north on 19 Avenue SE, continue north at the roundabout into Pearce Estate Park.

By transit:

Via bus #1 or #411. From the bus stop, walk 5-10 minutes north on 17A Street, crossing Blackfoot Trail where the road name changes to 19 Street.


Bow Habitat Station, including its 2-level Discovery Centre, is fully wheelchair accessible.

Note: Although there are some paved pathways through the Interpretive Wetlands, many are unpaved gravel trails. Please use caution in all weather.
