Open to public Tuesday – Saturday: 10 AM - 4 PM (last admission at 3 PM)

Closed Sundays, Mondays and statutory holidays.

Adult (18-64) $10.00
Senior (65+) $8.00
Student (18+ with ID) $8.00
Youth (4-17) $6.00
Children (3 and under) Free*
Family (up to 2 adults and 4 youth) $30.00

* Max. 4 children permitted with each paid adult admission. Additional children will be charged the youth admission rate.
Youth and children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Prices do not include GST and are subject to change.

Fish Hatchery Hours & Rate

Guided Fish Hatchery Tours (30-min) Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays
2:30 PM, space limited – arrive early to secure a spot.
Cost: $5.00 / person
Suitable to ages 4+
General Admission to Feed the Fish Fridays & Saturdays
10 AM – 3 PM
Cost: $2.00 / person
Suitable to all ages and attention spans

  • Limited free parking is available in the lot for Pearce Estate Park. Please carpool, or consider other means of transportation where safe and possible.
  • If there are no spots available, consider parking in a nearby residential area, or around the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary and accessing Bow Habitat Station via a nature-filled, 20-minute walk along the river pathway. Please allow extra time to arrive for your program on time.


By bike:

Follow the regional pathway along the river and follow the signs on the pathway towards the Discovery Centre.

By car:

Accessible from downtown via 9 Avenue SE, or from Deerfoot Trail via the exit for Blackfoot Trail heading east towards downtown. Heading north on 19 Avenue SE, continue north at the roundabout into Pearce Estate Park.

By transit:

Via bus #1 or #411. From the bus stop, walk 5-10 minutes north on 17A Street, crossing Blackfoot Trail where the road name changes to 19 Street.


Bow Habitat Station's Discovery Centre and Sam Livingston Fish Hatchery are fully wheelchair accessible.

Note: Although there are some paved pathways through the Interpretive Wetlands, many are unpaved gravel trails. Please use caution in all weather.
